Outstanding opportunity for an experienced marketing executive to influence the growth strategy of Charles Darwin University.
The Director of Marketing (DoM) is responsible for the development and promotion of the University brand and the critical role of driving domestic and international student demand, achieved through the delivery of professional marketing services and strategic leadership across a range of integrated marketing functions, including campaign management, student recruitment, web services, event management, customer relationship management and brand management. Building and maintaining close working relationships with the University executive and academic and professional staff leaders, the DoM will manage product offerings and marketing activities to ensure these are evidence based, highly targeted, and effectively evaluated.
This outstanding opportunity will suit marketing executives with successful records of attainment in a university or similarly complex operating environment, accomplished in positively impacting strategy development and delivering outcomes at the institutional level through influencing and evidence. Able to demonstrate expert knowledge of contemporary branding and marketing strategies and tactics to drive sustained market share growth, the DoM offers proven leadership skills, the ability to lead institution-wide change, and well developed interpersonal and communication skills. Competencies in advanced methods in market research and analysis support are expected as is a relevant tertiary qualification in marketing or a related discipline.
