The Criminology Program at La Trobe University is coordinated by the Law School and jointly taught by the Law School and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. The successful candidate will teach into the Criminology Program but may be required to teach into the Law Program from time to time.

About the role

In this role you will be required to teach into the Criminology Program and the Law Program (from time to time), undertake and publish high quality and high impact research, supervisor honours and HDR students, undertake service and engagement activities in the School, build and maintain links and partnerships with relevant academic, industry and professional communities.

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role you will have completed a Doctorate in Law, or a Doctorate in Criminology plus either a law degree with first class honours or a master of laws. You will have a demonstrated capacity for teaching at undergraduate level, preferably with experience in subject co-ordination, and positive teaching evaluations. You will be a productive researcher with a demonstrated record of publication success, and be able to demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively within a team and with others from a range of backgrounds.
