We are currently seeking a full-time, three year fixed term, Associate Lecturer to work within the accounting discipline area in the UQ Business School. In this position you will engage in the teaching of courses with an accounting focus and work alongside other faculty members to improve the design and development of teaching, learning and administrative processes within the School. Coordination of casual tutorial staff including, providing direction, advice and support on teaching, marking, consultation and administrative processes will also be a part of this role.
The appointee will possess tertiary qualifications in the area of accounting and will have a demonstrated ability to teach students and to conduct tutorials. The preferred applicant will possess high level organisational and communication skills and will have experience in tutorial coordination and administration, as well as the demonstrated ability to use and engage with current and new teaching technologies.
This is a full-time, 3 year fixed-term, appointment at Associate Lecturer Level A. The remuneration package will be in the range of $64,533 - $87,535 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $75,503 - $102,415 p.a.).
