The Role 

The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Corporate Engagement and Advancement is accountable for achieving the strategic goals for the University with regard to domestic student recruitment, corporate engagement, incubation and entrepreneurship, advancement and the Macquarie University brand. The portfolio works in conjunction with faculties to ensure potential engagement opportunities align with the academic mission and vision

Due to an expansion in our Corporate Engagement department, we are currently seeking two Corporate Engagement Support Officers to join our professional and energetic team. Reporting to the Executive Director, Corporate Engagement, you will contribute to the success of the team by providing highly effective administrative support and project coordination to help identify opportunities and assist in the implementation of our strategy and initiatives.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for the position, you must submit your CV and a cover letter (no more than 3 pages) which addresses the criteria below:

  • Degree and/or relevant experience in business, management or related discipline
  • Experience in providing administration support and project coordination in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in assisting partnership engagement initiatives, events and activities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Strong track record in managing demanding workload, juggling multiple tasks and working to tight deadlines
  • Experience in writing and preparing communication briefs and reports
  • Experience and/or knowledge of completing complex documentation; such as tenders, grant applications, contracts or partnership agreements

 Salary Package: From $77,894 to $85,982 p.a. (HEW level 6), plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading
