Alumni Relations Officer
Classification: ANU Officer Level 5
Salary package: $66,904 - $73,309 per annum plus superannuation

The ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) is one of the premier engineering and computer science research institutions in the world. Comprising the Research School of Computer Science and the Research School of Engineering, both are recognised as research leaders in their respective areas continuing the tradition of excellence in research and research-led education. CECS collaborates on research projects with government departments (federal and state) and multinational corporations, helping to accelerate research and development programs and to introduce new technologies to the marketplace. CECS offers a wide range of coursework programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level, and also supervises students for higher degrees by research. We offer undergraduate degrees in engineering, information technology and computer science along with masters and doctoral postgraduate programs.
CECS is currently seeking applications for an Alumni Relations Officer. The Alumni Relations Officer will perform a critical role in developing a coordinated and systematic approach to engaging with CECS Alumni. This position will provide support to leverage, expand and encourage lifelong relationships with alumni, trusts and foundations, individuals and corporations. The successful candidate will have exceptional customer service skills with a passion for people and building relationships with our Alumni community for the purpose of them giving their time, money and expertise to support the college’s Alumni engagement strategy.
We are looking for a team member with excellent interpersonal, strong self-management, written and oral communication skills and the capacity to quickly develop productive professional relationships with colleagues and our Alumni community. The successful candidate will be team-oriented, have the ability to multi-task and prioritise appropriately to meet deadlines. The job requires flexibility, tact, confidence and strong instincts for confidentiality, protocol and etiquette.
