About the job
This key position has responsibility for the Academic Services function for the Division, providing specialised support relating to international and domestic student admissions, credit, and program development and review for onshore and offshore delivery. This role also plays a vital link between the Schools, Divisions and Central units in implementing new strategies to support the Division’s academic services strategic plan.
You will lead the process for student load and revenue generation forecasts and manage the admission process of students through various streams including SATAC. In addition you will play a pivotal role in the Division’s accreditation process and ensure all programs are compliant with University policy and industry requirements along with maintaining relationships with industry contacts.
Skills and Experience
Significant experience within a similar position with an understanding of the higher education sector would be highly advantageous, along with prior experience working in a management position within a complex service organisation. Strong skills in interpreting and applying policy, in addition to research skills and the ability to analyse complex data will be highly valued.
Strong communication skills with demonstrated experience in being able to negotiate and influence senior staff to deliver positive outcomes will be essential in this role.
