Manager in Corporate Information System
About the job
You will manage and lead a team of information technologists to develop, implement and support the technical aspects of the University’s central corporate administration environment. You will work closely with senior staff to ensure corporate information systems are fit for purpose and meet the University’s business requirements, by investigating and researching new technologies, producing system design proposals and making recommendations, and providing a consultancy service to senior stakeholders across the University.
Skills and Experience
Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent skills and knowledge is essential, as is significant experience in managing and leading a team of systems analysts and developers with a strong commitment to customer service excellence. You will also have previous experience in the design, development and management of information systems used for vital business processes, such as finance and human resources management, in an organisation of comparable size and complexity to the University.
An ability to understand user requirements and interpret their needs appropriately, along with strong project management expertise and a comprehensive knowledge of the ITIL service management framework will ensure your success in this role.
