About the role

Applications are invited for the position of Associate Professor/Professor in Learning, Teaching and Assessment. Learning, Teaching and Assessment is a broad portfolio encompassing pedagogical, theoretical and content knowledge in one or more specific fields of education, requiring overarching insights into contemporary education issues, challenges and affordances in research specialisations and practice dynamics. It connects the academy to schools and early childhood centres through aligned teaching, research and service, with emphases on the interconnections of learning, teaching and assessment of learning.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have a doctoral qualification in an educational field.  For appointment at Associate Professor Level, you will have a leading scholar research record with extensive experience in an education setting as well as extensive knowledge of key research theories, policies and practices, trends and reforms in Learning, Teaching and Assessment. 

For appointment at Professorial Level, you will have a distinguished international record with a commitment to excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and the ability to foster innovative approaches to Teaching, Learning and Assessment. You will also have a record of significant involvement and achievement in collaborative projects with the ability to establish links with researchers and relevant funding organisations.
