Group Marketing manages and promotes the University's brand, reputation and achievements. Within Group Marketing, the Digital team is responsible for building the reach and impact of communications in University "owned" media channels. The team leads the web development for the whole university, engaging all internal stakeholders with a clear vision and process, and establishing a one-stop shop for digital advertising.

The Role

This is a pivotal role in the Digital team, collaborating with the Digital Director for the development of the web marketing strategy to enhance the reach and impact of Macquarie’s online presence. Driving the implementation and maintenance of websites, features, and online content aligned to the digital marketing strategy, you will manage the web marketing services to the University for the delivery of consistent, brand aligned messaging to our target audiences.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for the position, you must submit your CV and a cover letter (no more than 3 pages) which addresses the criteria below:

  • Degree and/or equivalent experience in digital marketing, or related discipline and/or extensive relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues, develop resolution strategies and implement change with a view to continuous improvement
  • Knowledge and experience of digital technologies and their integration to create innovative and engaging solutions
  • Experience in planning and implementing process improvements to ensure quality and drive efficiency
  • Experience in managing and coaching a team; and building and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple large projects concurrently, and work under pressure to meet deadlines

Salary Package: From $112,204 to $118,506 p.a. (HEW Level 9), plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading
