Lead Security Architect

Lead our efforts to ensure that University's IT systems are designed, built,and maintained in accordance with our enterprise architecture standards and Information Security policies. Work collaboratively with technologists and business units on project teams to define, implement, and evaluate security risks and controls. Provide leadership in refiningand growing the relevant portions of security policies, architecture standards, and the architecture review process. Deploy and maintain security services, both commercial and home-grown.
B.A./B.S., experience with Windows, UNIX, and Linux systems and networking technologies. Familiarity with compliance requirements e.g., HIPAA and PCI); Exposure to networking technologies and concepts including intrusion detection/prevention, firewalls, vulnerability scanning, and data protection/encryption; Must be detail-oriented with strong communication skills, both written and oral. Five to eight years of industry experience required. CISSP, TOGAF, or relevant information security certifications preferred. Higher Education environment experience preferred. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and will be required to pass a fingerprint-based background check.
