Lead Clinical Facilitator
About the job
As Lead Clinical Facilitator, you will be responsible for ensuring a coordinated approach to the management of a group of Clinical Facilitators, employed internal and external to the University, who support clinical placements for nursing and midwifery students at Country Health locations in rural and regional South Australia. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University Department of Rural Health and external placement venues so as to effectively induct, train, develop and oversee Clinical Educators with a view to enhancing and continuously improving the student placement experience.
Skills and Experience
To be successful you will have postgraduate qualifications relevant to the discipline of Nursing and/or Midwifery together with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and demonstrated post registration experience. You will also have experience providing clinical leadership as a clinical facilitator supervising and working with students demonstrating a commitment to enhanced service provision. Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise, negotiate and resolve conflict with stakeholders along with experience working with and in rural and regional health venues is essential for the success of this role.
The location of these positions will be determined via negotiation with the preferred candidate and as such the final location is flexible.
