Quality Assurance Testing Manager

Establish and lead all testing activities relating to system releases to ensure high quality system standards.
IMTS is the central provider of IT services for the University of Wollongong with a broad strategic mandate to provide best practice IT infrastructure, services and support.
Based within our Client Services Unit and reporting to the Senior Manager Client Services, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, executing and controlling the testing activities and tasks associated with each project/ program. This will include management and co-ordination of QA services which support the delivery of software and hardware solutions in the project development phase.
This is a new function, giving you the opportunity to develop a sustainable QA framework, which will include preparation of the test objectives, strategies, test policies and test plans and identification of test automation and management tools. You will develop service acceptance criteria to ensure that a service meets the defined service requirements, including functionality, operational support, performance and quality requirements.
