Finance at UQ operates within a devolved environment with Finance staff located in Professional Services teams in Faculties, Research Institutes and Central Divisions supported by Finance specialist service teams. The position is part of the Corporate Finance stream within Finance and Business Services.
Based within the corporate finance and contract and grants teams the incumbent will assist in the maintenance and reconciliation of the fixed asset registers and general ledger and manage the financial aspects of research grants as well as ad hoc tasks as required.
Applicants should possess a diploma or certificate level qualification with relevant work related experience. You should have good interpersonal and writing skills, an ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of the University’s policies and procedures, as well as demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 4. The remuneration package will be in the range $59,430 - $63,306 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $69,533 - $74,068 p.a.).
