Salary: £24,285 - £27,285 per annum
Hours: Full Time – 37 hours per week

A vacancy has arisen in our FE provision for a Full Time Study Skills Tutor. The work includes a wide range of responsibilities, primarily supporting Art students with diagnosed literacy problems and associated learning support needs within the studio environment.
As part of this role you will also be required to ensure that learning support records are comprehensive and prepared in accordance with audit requirements and the quality standards, inform Course Leaders of changes to student support plans, and participate in the University's procedures for the initial assessment of students.
Candidates will have a degree or equivalent in a relevant arts related subject, have relevant demonstrable knowledge of supporting students with dyslexia, and have experience of relevant working with a range of students with specific learning differences. A teaching qualification together with a dyslexia qualification are desirable.
