We are seeking to appoint an outstanding scholar in the area of Criminal Law who can make exceptional contributions to all activities in the School of Law, and will play a strategic leadership role in scholarship through teaching, research and professional activities. With a strong academic track record in both teaching and research, the ideal candidate will be able to cement criminal law, procedure and evidence as significant legal sub-disciplines within the School.
Skills and Experience
You will have a completed doctorate in Law or cognate discipline, and capacity to provide academic leadership in both research and teaching programs through mentoring, supervision and leading teams in the context of a high-trust, high-performance academic culture. You will also have demonstrated experience leading research as evidenced by international publication and funding record which is as a result of developing and publishing high quality, high impact journal papers; writing research grants and generating research income.
