The School of Policing Studies (SOPS) is Australia’s leading provider of police recruit level training and is located within the NSW Police Force Academy.
SOPS and the NSW Police Force have formed a unique partnership to design, develop and deliver tertiary courses in policing. The partnership is an essential strategy in the development of ethical and professional police officers in a rapidly changing police and community environment. A large residential police academy with cutting edge facilities to gain practical experience together with tertiary expertise in both internal and distance education provides innovative, professional and flexible policing education.
The Administrative Assistants will provide customer focussed administrative support and services to SOPS in its offering of the Associate Degree in Policing Practice in the context of the contract agreement between CSU and the NSW Police Force. They will maintain and monitor quality record keeping and reporting for the ADPP program, and also provide administrative support to the Head of School, management, teaching staff, colleagues and students.
This appointment will be conditional upon the successful applicants satisfying a NSW Police Professional Suitability check.
