Classification: ANU Officer Grade 6/7 (Administration)
Salary package: $75,608 - 87,570 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full-time, 12 months fixed term with a possibility of continuing employment

The Joint Colleges of Science (JCS) Administration team – supporting the ANU College of Health and Medicine and the ANU College of Science – delivers high quality administrative support and leadership to the core academic activities of the most research intensive area of ANU. The Senior Research Management Officer will play a key administrative role in the delivery of high quality, successful grant applications and the development of strategies to increase and diversify competitive research funding. The successful applicant will exercise initiative and work collaboratively as a member of a team. They will have excellent organisational and negotiation skills with proven customer-focused service experience in a tertiary or similar environment.
An interest in health and medical research is a must!
The Senior Research Management Officer will provide high-level research grants and fellowships advice and support services to academic staff within the ANU College of Health and Medicine. A key strategic focus of ANU is to foster greater excellence in health and medicine, and to grow the University’s health and medical research capacity significantly.
Candidates with experience administering National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) research grants and program requirements, and/or expertise in the administration of health and medical research grants more broadly defined, will be highly regarded. A postgraduate degree in the life and health sciences is also highly desirable.
