Salary:   £19,850 to £22,876 per annum
Tenure:  Full time permanent, working 37 hours per week

We have an opportunity available for an Administrative Assistant for Recruitment in the School of Creative Arts and Engineering. Working closely with the relevant Associate Dean – Recruitment, Student and Academic Services and our Marketing and PR team, this role will be responsible for supporting a range of student recruitment activities and external events throughout the recruitment cycle. Key responsibilities will include the co-ordination of student recruitment activity, supporting the planning of student recruitment and widening participation events, supporting School activity during clearing and assisting in the development of School marketing and web material. 

Possessing excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team, you will also be highly organised with experience of successfully managing small projects and motivating others to achieve objectives. The successful candidate will have strong administrative and digital skills, along with experience of analysing and interpreting data to develop solutions. You should also have previous experience of working in a Higher Education environment with specific knowledge of student recruitment activity.
