The Department of Creative Professions and Digital Arts (CPDA) is seeking a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Graphic Design. In this role you will augment the team that delivers our graphic design programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and contribute to our research effort, with strong emphasis on practice based exploration and analysis.

Based in the state-of-the-art Stockwell Street Building, a building which sits at the heart of the Greenwich community, the CPDA department is fast settling into its new home. As Stockwell Street houses brand new practice studios and workshop facilities, this post offers the opportunity to help shape the department as it continues to develop within the University of Greenwich.

CPDA was formed from the range of creative practice subject areas across the University, consolidated now into a single entity with a mission to focus the energies of staff and students in a way that encourages interdisciplinary teaching, collaboration and skill sharing. Harbouring a wealth of creative talent, the past few years have seen the CPDA design students recognised with the ISTD and Penguin Design Awards, as well as being shortlisted for a wide variety of creative awards and competitions including the D&AD awards. The Department is dedicated to widening participation, diversity and internationalism and this is reflected in our staff and student profiles.

Any questions about the post can be directed to Prof. Gregory Sporton, Head of Department, CPDA, on 020 8331 8001, or
