Position overview

The Research and Innovation Portfolio provides leadership and support of strategic initiatives to build growth in research and education outcomes through strategic partnerships with industry, government and not-for-profit organisations. 

Reporting to the Dean, Higher Degree Research, the incumbent will focus on the facilitation, management and development of HDR information and business improvements, by providing high-level support to the Dean, HDR and strategic direction and advice to the ANU community in the areas of HDR administration and governance.

The incumbent will work closely with the HDR Service Improvement Group Project Manager in completion of Phase 3 of the HDR Administrative Support Project, participating in the scoping and staged implementation of the agreed target state model. The incumbent will actively represent and support the Dean, HDR in formal committees, meetings, working parties and other forums, and will develop and maintain relationships, work effectively and consult and liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including staff, students and visitors, working in partnership with colleagues across the University.
