University Paris-Dauphine London Campus, specialising in International business, Management and Economics, is recruiting a temporary General Manager (Maternity leave cover – 6 months). The General Manager reports to the Board of Directors of Paris Dauphine International, the UK charity that manages the London campus of the University. He/She is expected to:

MANAGE DAUPHINE IN LONDON:

  • TO IMPLEMENT STRATEGY AND ACTIONS DECIDED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS; 
  • TO ENSURE VISIBILITY OF THE UNIVERSITY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM; 
  • TO REPRESENT THE UNIVERSITY AND ENSURE ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT (CONTRACTS, ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES, ETC.), ORGANISE BOARD MEETINGS, WRITE DRAFT REPORTS AND BALANCE SHEETS; 
  • ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF MANAGEMENT (3 STAFF). 
  • COORDINATION WITH  ACADEMIC STAFF 

DEVELOP DAUPHINE IN LONDON

  • TO MANAGE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS FOR THE UNIVERSITY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM (IN PARTICULAR, A STRATEGIC RELOCATION PROJECT WITHIN CENTRAL LONDON); 
  • TO FACILITATE THE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT IN CONTINUING OR EXECUTIVE EDUCATION; 
  • TO IMPLEMENT THE COMMUNICATION/REPRESENTATION/EVENT STRATEGY APPROVED   BY THE BOARD. 

MANAGE THE DAUPHINE IN LONDON GLOBAL BACHELOR PROGRAMME

  • TO OVERSEE THE GENERAL ACADEMIC ORGANISATION OF THE PROGRAMME (HIRE THE REQUIRED TEACHING STAFF, PEDAGOGICAL MEETINGS, EXAM MONITORING, ORGANISING AND CO-CHAIRING EXAMINATION/GRADING COMMITTEE)
  • TO DEVELOP AND PROMOTE THE PROGRAMME WITH ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL PARTNERS; 
  • TO LIVEN THE CAMPUS LIFE UP (STUDENT SOCIETIES, CONFERENCES ORGANIZATION, EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES); 
  • TO MONITOR THE STUDENTS SATISFACTION;
  • ADMINISTRATION: TO ENSURE GENERAL SUPERVISION TASKS (BUDGET PROPOSAL, ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT OF STUDENTS, PARTNERS, ETC.) AND HOLD OFFICE HOURS; TO FOLLOW UP PAYMENTS IN RELATION WITH THE SERVICE PROVIDER; TO ENSURE AN ADMINISTRATIVE AND LOGISTICAL LINK WITH THE UNIVERSITY IN FRANCE.

PROFILE:

  • PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN MANAGEMENT
  • GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM
  • BILINGUALISM AND ABILITY TO WORK FLUENTLY IN BOTH LANGUAGES  (ENGLISH & FRENCH)
  • DYNAMISM AND COMMITMENT 
  • PUBLIC SPEAKING SKILLS AND INTERACTION WITH DIFFERENT PARTNERS 
  • ABILITY FOR INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
