Head of Student Systems and Records

Contract: Permanent
Salary: £51,052 - £61,667 pa
Location: UAL - High Holborn
Hours: Full time

The role

This is an exciting opportunity to join University of the Arts London in a key leadership role within the Academic Registry unit, as we redesign our student processes for the transition from our old record system (QL) to our new SITS system over the next two years

Academic Registry combines units looking after admissions, assessment and quality, and student systems and records. With staff based in High Holborn and colleges, Academic Registry provides operational leadership for the delivery of core registry processes supporting the journey of students through their time at UAL.

As Head of Student Systems and Records, you will take responsibility for student records processes across the University and the systems that support these, including the core record system.

We are dedicated to providing a high quality service to our students and staff and you will lead a team with a focus on the continuous improvement of the processes that underpin the student journey, using our systems in the most efficient way possible.

Why choose us?

University of the Arts London is a vibrant world centre for innovation, drawing together six Colleges with international reputations in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts.

Every position within the University plays an important part in shaping future creative professionals, and impacts on the future of so many creative industries.

Your profile

You must know about the operation of systems and processes in HE and must also have experience of maintaining or developing at least one aspect of an HE student records system (experience of a system is essential with SITS experience desirable). You will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead a team of talented expert staff to the delivery of a high quality service. We are interested in individuals who have the communication and people skills to deliver change with a focus on continuous improvement.

In return, University of the Arts London offers generous leave, an attractive pension and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity. Relocation assistance is available.
