As part of the expansion of Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies (!APT) services into Long Term Health Conditions (LTHCs) an opportunity has been created to become part of a developing team, delivering high quality Cognitive Behaviour Therapy teaching and training to postgraduate diploma trainees.  The postgraduate diploma is, in the main, delivered at St. George's Hospital in Stafford in conjunction with clinical staff from South Staffordshire and Shropshire NHS Trust.  To this end, excellent communication skills with clinicians and service leads is a key component of this position.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching and assessment of excellent clinical practice at postgraduate level, as well as, at times supporting the provision of CST education to other health related courses. In addition to teaching and assessment, the successful post holder will provide high quality CBT supervision to trainees on a regular basis.  Supervision of supervision will be provided.
An enhanced DBS will be required for this post.
