Research Administrator 

Location:     University Park
Salary:     £22,494 to £26,829 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applicants are invited for the above post based in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Nottingham. The successful candidate will work within the Machining & Condition Monitoring research team (MCM) & the University Technology Centre in Manufacturing and On-Wing technologies (UTC).
Both the MCM and the UTC engage in a number of research projects from a wide range of funders including EPSRC, Innovate UK, European Union and industry.

The role holder will provide and co-ordinate the administrative support for the research projects. We are looking for candidates that have exprience in a related role with knowledge of dealing with accounts and the ability to analyse and understand spreadsheets. The successful candidate will have excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and have a flexible approach to the team and will be able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels both internally and to key external partners.

This part time post is available immediately and is offered on a fixed term contract for one year. Hours of work are 20 to 25 hours per week and applicants should specify in their application the preferred number of hours.
