About the Job

As the Jordan Louviere Fellow, you will make independent and original research contributions of both a theoretical and empirical nature in the area of discrete choice modelling, with an expected significant impact in your area of specialisation. You will also be acknowledged at an international level as being influential in expanding the knowledge of your relevant discipline. Your expertise in choice modelling will apply to transport, energy, utility/networks, environment/resources or labour.

Skills and Experience

This is a senior research position. To be eligible, you must currently hold an Associate-level professorship at an academic institution of repute. We are unable to accept applications at this time from early career researchers or candidates that are currently undertaking their doctorate qualification.

You will hold a doctorate in an area of applied economics, together with a substantive research background in applied economics, preferentially in areas such as food, labour, health, transport, and environmental economics, together with the following:

  • a strong and traceable methodological research interest in the area of discrete choice modelling; 
  • an active research program and future interests in applied research involving human (and, potentially organizational) decision making.
