Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor in Early Childhood/Primary

About the job
We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and innovative academic who will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, with a specific focus on leading the Early Childhood and Primary specializations within the Department. Teaching will involve a range of delivery methods including lectures, tutorials and seminars for on-campus and on-line students. You will be expected to contribute to curriculum design and development of both online and on campus learning materials and assessment. Additionally, you will contribute to the research profile of the department by participating in, and leading research focused on Early Childhood and/or Primary Education. You will be actively involved in the supervision of postgraduate research students.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- A PhD qualification or equivalent in or related discipline
- Demonstrated high-level competence in teaching and curriculum development including on-campus, flexible blended, and online modes of delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in tertiary teaching including a record of unit co-ordination, teaching and curriculum development.
