Fellow/Senior Fellow in Digital Mental Health

We invite a Researcher to join our newly formed Centre for Mental Health to lead and contribute to innovation in digital mental health programs. The Centre for Mental Health is a new research centre at Swinburne with strengths in digital mental health interventions, including cognitive behavioural self-help programs, telehealth, and recovery-focused programs for persisting mental health problems. It runs the National eTherapy Centre (NeTC), which is funded by the Australian Government to provide online mental health programs for high prevalence disorders.
The focus of this role is in strengthening innovation within NeTC and in developing new digital mental health programs available to the public through both the mentalhealthonline.org.au website and the Australian Government’s digital mental health gateway, Head to Health. It will also be a key role involved in pursuing synergies between NeTC and the broader activities of University in its priority area of digital health.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate substantial knowledge and experience in digital mental health interventions, with the capacity to innovate in this field, and to lead or contribute to applications for funding to support the work of NeTC. An innovator at heart, your previous experience will see you leading the roll out of new funding opportunities within the digital health space.
