Join our award-winning creative team. You'll help design and produce highly visible, high-priority websites, from concept to launch, for a variety of academic, research, and administrative areas. Act as primary liaison between the magazine editor and design team. Play a key part in a growing editorial initiative to enhance and innovate upon our content management system, a highly customized installation of WordPress. Participate in the design and front-end development of other WordPress-powered websites and editorial channels across the University. Work in partnership with an award-winning creative team of designers, developers, and writers by participating and assisting in the design Support and assist the design leads in conceiving and designing and production of interactive high-visibility, high-priority university websites from creative concept through launch for a variety of administrative, academic, and research areas within the university. exciting online products that tell the BU story. B.A/B.S or equivalent with minimum 3-5 years experience creating and improving websites through outstanding design. Extraordinary oral and written communication skills, and an ability to analyze complex content and requirements. Familiarity with information architecture, usability, and/or designing for web applications. Requires flexibility and adaptability to new technology in a changing environment.Direct experience with Mac platforms, Adobe Creative Suite, and multiple devices with web browsers. Proficiency with HTML, and CSS. Knowledge of, or ability to learn, content management software. Experience assessing, prioritizing and solving technical problems related to web design. Ability to work on teams with colleagues across the University. Ability to provide and accept critical feedback. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
