Finance Support Administrator

Full time, fixed term contract (up to 12 months)

Salary  - £18,777 - £20,411 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the Finance Team at York St John University, covering a period of maternity leave. If you are seeking a varied role, involving interaction with a number of internal customers then this might be the opportunity for you.

As we are emerging from a period of change you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with Finance, School Support Unit, Schools and Directorates to deliver a range of administrative activities and support colleagues in the delivery of a professional, effective and efficient accounting service. 

You will report to the Finance Team Manager and act as a point of contact to internal customers regarding financial policy and finance related processes.  Part of the role will require you to review staff and student expenses claims to ensure compliance.

The successful candidate will possess a high standard of numeracy and computer literacy, with experience of Microsoft Office applications. The ability to communicate with a diverse range of clients, follow processes and handle confidential data with discretion are essential for the role.
