ECU has been at the forefront of teacher education for over 100 years and is the largest School of Education in Western Australia. The School of Education provides up-to-date and progressive courses providing students with opportunity to gather the knowledge, skills and hands-on experience needed to graduate as an outstanding teacher. Courses are available in a range of early childhood, primary and secondary education settings.
We are seeking a TESOL specialist to lead and teach in this field, focusing on both undergraduate and graduate courses. The applicant would have experience both as an academic and within broader educational settings. While predominantly based at our Joondalup and Mount Lawley Campuses, some teaching may take place internationally.
ECU is influential in educational policy and classroom practice at the local, national and international levels. Our courses have national and international standing and prepare educators for all levels of teaching from infants to school leavers.
The successful applicant:
- Must possess a PhD in the relevant discipline;
- Must be eligible for registration with the Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia;
- Has a track record of strong and effective teaching in TESOL; and
- Demonstrates research achievement and publications commensurate with a Level B Academic at ECU.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $95,979 pa - $113,978 pa (Level B) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
