Job Description

Reporting to the director and assistant director of the new Global Development Policy Center, the Center Administrator manages the day-to-day operations, including organization, coordination, and management of all administrative and budgetary areas of the Center. Ensures administrative tasks in the Center are executed effectively and efficiently. Manages department budgets, pre-award and post-award grant administration, purchasing, event and meeting planning, computers/technology, administration of HR activities, and facility and/or equipment planning. Develops department policies and processes and communicates University and Center policies and procedures to faculty, staff, and students, as needed/appropriate. Plans and completes longer-term, complex projects to support the operations and programs of the Center. Provides administrative support, calendar management and handles travel plans for the director, as well handles special projects. May supervise student workers. General knowledge of and commitment to mission of the Center is a plus.

Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of experience required.

Experience in the use of Excel, Constant Contact, Wordpress, Adobe Photoshop, MS Office Suite, HTML and various social media required.

InDesign and BUworks/SAP are pluses.
