Research Administrator (fixed term)
Salary: £17,399 to £20,624 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above post to work in the Faculty of Engineering. This is a fixed term post to cover maternity leave for 12 months.
The successful candidate will join a team providing professional administrative support to members of academic and research staff within a number of Research Groups.
Duties will involve carrying out a range of Group related administrative activities, including arranging meetings and events, taking minutes, dealing with emails, telephone enquiries and general office based tasks.
Candidates should have experience in a relevant role, they should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work on their own initiative. Excellent IT skills are essential (MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook), experience of other web based software would also be an advantage.
