About the job

You will play a leading role in managing the Library’s information resources and development as well as oversee the ongoing operation of a range of technical services, including the Library’s systems and resource management, copyright education and compliance, research and research outputs support.

Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, you will provide formal strategic advice as well as prepare and implement plans to deliver on the operational excellence and agreed project outcomes for the Library.

Skills and Experience

As an experienced senior manager, you will bring post graduate qualifications (or significant equivalent skills and experience), as well as have extensive experience leading a library service delivery team in a complex operating environment. Excellent interpersonal skills will allow you to build strong working relationships across organisational boundaries and successfully manage a team.

A contemporary working knowledge of collection management, copyright and research support paired with change management experience and the ability to drive strategic projects from inception to operation will ensure your success in the role.
