Reporting to the Executive Dean, this exciting opportunity now exists for an Assistant Dean, Research to focus on research and development excellence. Working in conjunction with the Faculty Executive and QUT’s Institutes for Future Environments, and Health and Biomedical Innovation, the role is responsible for achieving the strategic goals and operational performance relevant to research development and quality.
As a key member of the Faculty Executive team, you will promote and foster an inclusive and collaborative, high performance culture that achieves excellent outcomes with a focus on continuous improvement. Your demonstrated experience in leadership and management of large scale research programs should be coupled with a track record of income generation, project completion and impactful innovation. As an active Researcher you will have a sound understanding of the Australian and International research landscape and the ability to encourage integrated transdisciplinary research partnerships. You will have highly developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders in a complex research environment.
