Description:

As a Prosectionist, you will provide technical and professional expertise supporting the production and maintenance of human cadaver specimens used for undergraduate and post-graduate teaching within the Anatomy Facility at Curtin University. The position provides support across three Schools within the Faculty of Health Sciences - the School of Biomedical Sciences, the School of Physiotherapy and Exercise Science and the Curtin Medical School.

Working under general direction, you will prepare material for Anatomy practical laboratory classes and provide on-going care of cadaver material in accordance with legislation and University policy and guidelines.

Commencing as soon as possible, the successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in prosection, with a high level of human anatomical knowledge. Knowledge of the Anatomy Act and experience with the process of plastination would be looked upon favourably. Benefits and

The salary ranges presented are those which are contained within the University's Enterprise Agreements; as are the employee benefits which include employer superannuation contribution at the rate of the current Government Superannuation Guarantee amount up to 17 percent, study assistance, a comprehensive salary packaging and wellness programs and flexible and family friendly work practices.
