Graduate Internships – Production Department X2
(Technical & Touring)

Full–Time, Fixed Term from 18 September 2017 – 10 August 2018 (start date can be negotiated to early October)

Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is offering an exciting opportunity to learn and work within our world-class institution. Our Graduate Internship programme enables graduates to gain vital professional understanding of an arts organisation alongside valuable developmental opportunities. You will gain relevant hands-on experience through working with established professionals in this busy and exciting role, within one of the most diverse and vibrant educational and cultural organisations in the world.

Working with our Production team, you will receive training and gain experience in all aspects of technical theatre management, including lighting, sound and stage management. One of the Interns will go on a national tour with our post-graduate company, Transitions.

You should have a degree or equivalent, preferably in Technical Theatre or Performing Arts, excellent communication skills, basic technical skills and understanding, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work as part of a team. You should be able to demonstrate initiative and be able to work independently when necessary.  

Flexible working will be required including evenings, weekends and short trips away to meet the needs of the tour.

Salary: £7.05 - £7.50 per hour as per National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage rates.
