BA (Hons) Fashion & BA (Hons) Fashion Branding and Communication are established successful Fashion Subject Areas at the Arts University Bournemouth. The University prides itself on a very applied, practice based approach to learning with close collaboration within the BA Fashion courses and the wider creative courses in the University.

We are looking for a highly motivated, creative and inspirational individual to join our expanding fashion programmes, delivering up to date digital content for fashion based digital design content e.g. publication, presentation, web, layout, folio design, digital print, and social media design.

You will be fully skilled and have professional experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, and additional desirable experience with Muse, Premiere and Lightroom, in order to deliver creative content which inspires and supports student learning and development.

Flexible and directional  in your approach to practice, you’ll be committed to student-centered teaching and learning.

You will be working as part of a dedicated course team who have an open-minded approach to both Fashion and Fashion Branding and Communication and how it might continue to evolve in the future.

This post offers you the opportunity to develop your teaching and  will need to be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and well-informed to teach across our courses.

You will have experience within the profession and be capable of the demands of teaching at degree level. You will need to be able to devise briefs, deliver inspiring workshops and lectures and be actively involved in the assessment process.  Fashion Branding & Communications industrial/commercial experience is essential as are skills within Fashion  specific Branding & Communication software and equipment.

All academic staff are involved with research, often linked with industry and practice, which ensures the relevance and currency of our curriculum.

The successful candidate for the post will hold a post graduate qualification in a relevant subject and either hold, or be willing to undertake within 2 years, a teaching qualification or Higher Education Academy (HEA) Membership.   A PhD is also desirable.
