The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor Research Training is seeking a proactive and highly skilled Researcher Career and Professional Development Consultant to deliver a range of career, professional development, coaching and mentoring support programs for the flagship UNSW Scientia Fellowship Program and UNSW Scientia PhD Scholarship Scheme.

About the role
- $101,051K-$113,856K plus (17% superannuation and leave loading or 9.5% Superannuation and annual leave loading less than 2 years fixed term)
- Fixed Term until April 2020
- Full-time (35 hours per week)
The Scientia Team has been established under the leadership of the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Research Training (PVCRT) to support the recruitment and selection of candidates for the UNSW Scientia Initiatives, deliver career and professional development programs, and implement retention strategies for outstanding researchers at all stages of their career at UNSW.
Working within this Team, you will contribute to development strategies for our emerging talented researchers, and design and deliver a range of career and professional development activities, career coaching, and mentoring support for the career development component of the UNSW Scientia Fellowships Program and UNSW Scientia PhD Scholarships Scheme.
About the successful applicant
You will have a broad range of experience in talent retention and career support, combined with extensive experience in consulting and delivering in the Learning and Career Development cycle, and knowledge of a range of learning delivery styles.
You will have knowledge of the University Research sector, and demonstrated skill in developing and maintaining highly effective working relationships with all relevant stakeholders within a large and complex organisation. You will have a strong commitment to implementing effective evaluation solutions to continually improve both the quality of the Researcher Development services and the transfer of learning to the individual, in alignment with the UNSW 2025 Strategy.
