Staff in the Division of Student Services work collaboratively with Faculties and Divisions to enhance students’ University experience. We recognise that successful transition into University depends upon an holistic approach involving academic and social integration. Through inclusive practices we build aspiration levels for Higher Education, enhance participation in chosen courses of study and enable people to make smooth transitions into University and into the workforce.

The Quality and Finance team ensures that funds allocated to the portfolio are effectively and appropriately managed in ways that support our work with students. This team actively supports effective evaluation and reporting on portfolio activities and the adoption of consistent administrative practices within the portfolio.

The Administration and Finance Officer is responsible for the coordination and day-to-day operation of the Division’s administrative and financial functions and ensuring the Division’s operations demonstrate sound practice and processes and are compliant with the overarching University rules, policies and process.

This position is also required to provide strong leadership for all administrative staff within the Division of Student Services and assist the Manager, Quality and Finance with compliance reporting, budget preparation and financial reporting across many programs and funding streams managed within the Division of Student Services.
