We are seeking an enthusiastic team worker to join the Teaching, Learning & Assessment Office within the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, based at Sutton Bonington.

The Quality Assurance Officer will assist with the academic development and delivery of Teaching, Learning and Assessment in the School by specifically supporting the Teaching, Learning and Assessment Sub-Dean and Clinical Director in the preparation for audit events, school assessment coordination and general academic administration. It is usual that administrative roles in the Veterinary School undertake tasks more traditionally assigned to academics, and as such there is a high level of responsibility and understanding of academic and educational issues required in this role.

The post will require flexibility, dynamism, energy and initiative, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and good communication skills.

The candidate will be required to be diligent, thorough and meticulous in their approach to tasks in order to deliver a high quality professional service. The post will require the ability to collate, organize, record and present documentation for audit purposes.

Informal enquiries may be addressed to Kay Millward, email kay.millward@nottingham.ac.uk. Please note that applications sent directly to this email address will not be accepted.

It is a condition of this post that satisfactory basic disclosure is obtained.

The University of Nottingham is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
