The School of Science and Technology comprises subject disciplines including Biomedical Science,Physics and Electronics, Chemistry, Mathematics,Pharmacy, Exercise and Sport Science, Statistics and Computer Science. The School conducts teaching and research through an exciting range of undergraduate, honours, and postgraduate courses and research degrees by dissertation within these disciplines. These courses are offered via on campus and flexible online education modes.
About the role
The School of Science and Technology at UNE is seeking to appoint a highly motivated academic to join our multi-disciplinary Biomedical Science team which offers flexible, innovative and relevant content into a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs including science, medicine and nursing.
Within this role you will develop and teach high quality programs of study within the biomedical science discipline, be active in research and attracting external funding and contribute to the continued development of the biomedical science program.
Skills & Experience
The successful appointee for this position will have experience in undergraduate teaching of biomedical science or allied health and have experience in supervision of postgraduate students. Applicants will also have a record in attracting external funding and research publications as well as effective teamwork and communication skills.
