The Institute for Global Food Security is seeking to make a number of appointments in the area of Human Nutrition at various levels: Professor, Reader/Senior Lecturer and Lecturer.

The Institute for Global Food Security was ranked as number one for research intensity in the Agriculture, Veterinary & Food Science category of the UK’s Research Excellence Framework 2014.  Our vision is to further develop the internationally-recognised trajectory of its research excellence. Within the field of nutrition our Institute is exploring how diet impacts on health across the lifecycle.  Areas of particular interest in the current call include nutrition and cancer, nutrition and eye health, and nutrition and healthy ageing.
