The University Library comprises six campus libraries (Bankstown, Blacktown, Campbelltown, Hawkesbury, Parramatta, and Penrith) and a library hub at the Parramatta City Campus, which are supported by centralised administrative services. The University Library provides quality scholarly information, resources and services to the Western Sydney University community in a ubiquitous manner across our physical and digital presences.
An opportunity exists for an experienced professional to join the University Library as Manager, Library Digital Infrastructure to lead a team that is responsible for the administration, development and maintenance of the Library’s online presence, repositories and associated discovery services to ensure they remain contemporary and responsive to student needs. This team responds rapidly to the changing digital environment and ensures that the University Library remains at the forefront of digital service provision to the academic community. Reporting to the Associate Librarian Resources and Digital Services, the Manager, Library Digital Infrastructure leads a team responsible for the strategic development of digital services as well as ensuring discovery interfaces remain contemporary and responsive to student needs. This team responds rapidly to the changing digital environment ensuring that the Library is at the core of scholarly service delivery.
Through and with the Associate Librarian, Resources and Digital Services, the Manager, Library Digital Infrastructure is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and evaluating the Library’s repository and user discovery strategies. The position also provides advice on the potentiality of technology as it applies to Library operations.

Remuneration Package: Higher Education Worker Level 9 $129,108 to $137,876 p.a (comprising Salary $109,098 to $116,507 p.a., 17% Superannuation and Leave Loading)
