We are seeking to connect outstanding early career researchers less than 5 years post PhD with our established, world-class, academics in areas of existing and emerging research strength. You will have an excellent track record and national and international recognition; and propose a research project that is strategically aligned with your host Faculty and Unit.
As a Vice-Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Research Fellow you will be welcomed to our dynamic research environment, and supported to establish a program of research to launch your career. Through professional development and mentorship we will help you achieve your goals.

Applicants must check they are eligible under section 3, and follow the application process set out in section 4 of the VC Postdoctoral Research Fellowships Guidelines and Instructions 2018.
Prospective applicants must discuss their application with their proposed mentor, and then the Head of the proposed host Unit at UOW, prior to submitting their application.
You will be prompted to respond to questions as part of the online application process as well as attach the required supporting documentation. You will be able to save your application at any time and submit at a later date if required, you will only be able to do this before the closing date of the position.
Please note that on the “Selection Criteria” page you are only required to answer the 9 questions – there is no selection criteria to respond to for these Fellowships.
