About the role
Develop high quality innovative curriculum, deliver engaging teaching to a high standard and obtain research funding through various methods. You will supervise Higher Degree by Research, honours and postgraduate students, participate in innovative course level curriculum design, development and review and coordinate subjects in this newly created position.
Skills & Experience
You will have completed a PhD in a relevant area or the equivalent experience, a strong research record coupled with experience in the preparation of research proposals. You will have a strong track record for developing curriculum and teaching excellence, competence in computer coding and the ability to teach computer science subjects. The Department is looking for a strong candidate in the broad area of information technology to support the wide range of programs in the Department with good knowledge of robotics, embedded systems, social computing, human-computer interaction and wearable computing.
A graduate Certificate in Higher Education or evidence of equivalent professional preparation for H.E teaching is advantageous.
