A continuing position, it is based at our picturesque campus in Townsville.
What you can accomplish in this role
Taking a lead role in teaching subjects related to health care and health systems in Australia, health policy and planning, rural, remote and tropical public health you will join a team of dedicated health professionals.
With the ability to not only teach into this successful program but also collaborate with leading researchers from the Australian Institute of Tropical Health and Medicine, the Tropical Australian Academic Health Centre and other research centres and groups based within and external to the university you can further your academic career in the beautiful North Queensland tropics.
What you can bring to this role
With a strong background in a health-related discipline, including clinical or professional practice in the field and recent teaching experience you are passionate about growing the public health professionals of the future.
With scope to develop your own research portfolio you will also have the ability to take a lead role in the design and delivery of innovative and high quality subjects related to broad public health themes relevant to the tropics.
