Arts University Bournemouth is the leading professional arts university dedicated to turning creativity into careers. Offering courses in art, design, architecture, media and performance, we are passionate about our specialist subjects and dedicated both to education and to the creative industries that we serve. 

We have recently won a number of grants including funding from the European Union to deliver projects working with the local business community. We are seeking to recruit an administrator with experience of supporting EU projects, especially the requirements for recording outputs and expenditure for audit.  

The postholder will also provide comprehensive administrative support for the Research and Knowledge Exchange Office and the Dean of Creative Learning. 

Ideally, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to establish good working relationships with both internal and external colleagues. You will be an experienced, self–motivated and enthusiastic administrator who is dedicated to delivering high standards of customer service. 

You will need to be accurate, organised and able to prioritise your own workload within a busy environment.  You need to be able to work well under pressure.  

You will have a collaborative and flexible approach. You will be diplomatic and able to handle potentially sensitive situations and information.  You will also have experience of EU and other forms of funding requirements and the HE sector, and have gained previous experience within a similar environment.  

Candidates with be required to have a level 3 qualification or equivalent experience; good Microsoft Office skills including intermediate Excel skills; and GSCE maths and English at Grade C or above or equivalent experience.
