The School of Built Environment and Engineering is looking to recruit a high calibre lecturer in Project Management to enhance the teaching and research in this expanding area.  The school delivers Project Management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, along with APM professional short courses.  The successful candidate would be expected to deliver modules at all levels, and engage in teaching and in the development of high profile research and enterprise relationships / projects. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive project practitioner experience alongside academic and/or project management research – this could be in a related area.  A first degree in project management related discipline is preferred, together with a postgraduate degree in a closely related discipline or excellent industry experience in the project management field.  Successful candidates would be expected embark on further research either on a taught course or PhD, (if not already held).

The project management team of academics expects the successful applicant to add to and develop the delivery of project management courses at all levels, and enhance the reputation of the School’s provision in this increasingly important profession. We are looking for an innovative approach to teaching and the subject area with extensive knowledge and a drive to engage students in the exciting area of project management and help the School to increase student satisfaction of the taught courses.

Working here means you'll also have access to a wide range of benefits including our generous pension schemes, excellent holiday entitlements, flexible working, reduced study fees, subsidised fitness facilities and a lot more.
