Director in Business Development
Educate members of the Boston University community about the commercialization process through one-on-one meetings, presentations, and connections to external experts. Encourage members of the Boston University Community to commercialize their ideas by providing rapid feedback on improvement strategies and a strategy for successful commercialization. Enable these individuals to commercialize their ideas by connecting them to the resources necessary to be successful (e.g., mentors, funding, champions, etc.). Create and manage an external expert network that can be called upon for support. Publicize discoveries from the Boston University Community through a variety of channels (websites,blogs, twitter, news, articles, events, blast emails, targeted marketing, etc.). Draft, negotiate, execute and monitor appropriate agreements including CDA's, Options, and Terms Sheets. Manage student Analysts as needed.
B.A./B.S., Masters preferred. Three to five years of related experience.
