Aston Business School is one of Europe’s leading business schools, with the majority of its research rated world-leading or internationally excellent in RAE 2008, QAA 24/24 for teaching quality and accredited by AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS. There is a thriving research culture and strong demand from well-qualified students for its range of undergraduate, Masters and post-experience courses.

Currently the Accounting Group at the Aston Business School has 20 full-time/part-time members of staff. The group offers dedicated undergraduate (B.Sc. Accounting for Management) and postgraduate (M.Sc. in Accounting and Finance and M.Sc. in International Accounting and Finance) programmes in accounting. We are now seeing significant growth in student numbers and currently exploring the online provisions of our M.Sc. programmes. As a result we are seeking to invest in existing staff strength.

For further information on the Accounting Group, see here: http://www.aston.ac.uk/aston-business-school/research/groups/accounting.

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are committed to excellence in teaching and scholarship activities. Candidates should have experience of teaching accounting on undergraduate, postgraduate (including online provisions) and/or professional training programmes to contribute to and enhance our accounting and business finance teaching activities. For these positions applicants expertise in British taxation and policy is preferred.
Applicants should possess a good honours degree and a Masters or professional qualification.
